What is Hospitelligence?

An introduction to Hospitelligence — what it is, who it's built for, and the problem it solves for hospitality venues.

Hospitelligence is a purpose-built AI operating system for hospitality. We bring together the data from the platforms your venue runs on every day — Point of Sale, gaming, rostering, time and attendance, reservations and bookings — and put an AI layer on top of it. One place to see what's happening, ask questions, and get the right people notified when something needs attention.

It's not a BI tool. We're not here to be another dashboard you log into once a week to build reports. The data is connected in near real time, and the platform is designed around the question "what should I be doing right now?" rather than "what happened last quarter?"

What's inside

There are four core pillars, and most of this help centre is organised around them:

  • Dashboards — operational, real-time tiles showing how the venue is tracking right now. Designed for duty managers and supervisors who need a quick read between other tasks.

  • AI Chat — the deep analysis layer. Ask any question about your venue's data in plain English and get a real answer with tables, charts, and source notes.

  • Agents — configurable AI workers that handle defined tasks. Each department head can have agents tuned for their world: kitchen, beverage, stock and procurement, finance, gaming.

  • Notifications — how the platform reaches the right people at the right time. Built around two ideas: Insights (routine, informational) and Signals (urgent, action-required).

What makes it different

Most tools in hospitality either show you data (BI tools, POS reports) or do one specific thing well (a rostering app, a stock app). Hospitelligence sits across all of them. The AI doesn't just query one system — it reasons across POS, roster, bookings, and gaming together, the way an analyst would if they had every system open at once.

That cross-system reasoning is the unlock. "Why was Saturday's labour % so high?" isn't a POS question or a roster question — it's both at once. Same with "are our reservations converting into actual covers" or "is gaming revenue tracking with the bookings we took."

Where to next

The next article — How Hospitelligence works — covers how data flows in and what comes out the other side.
